不安Uncertainty

電腦掃瞄亦不能清楚顯示家父的肺為何有黑影。醫生說可能是細菌感染，但不排除是腫瘤。他要與外科商量，兩星期後決定是否需要做手術，把黑影部份割除化驗。
另外，由於家父痰中的血可能是耳鼻喉部位引起，所以又排期去看耳鼻喉專科。香港的公共醫療系統，不是一站式服務，不同專科並不是在同一地方提供。
到現在也不知是什麼原因，是對耐性的挑戰與考驗。要在這段不安時期保持鎮定與信心。

It is still not known the reason for the black spot in my father’s lung even after computer scan. Doctor says it can be infection, but he cannot rule out the possibility of tumor. It takes two weeks for the doctor to discuss with the surgery department to decide whether an operation to remove black spot followed by lab test is necessary.
As the blood in my father’s sputum can be caused by damage to the upper respiratory tract, we have booked appointment to otorhinolaryngology clinic. The public medical system of Hong Kong does not offer one-stop service, and you need to go different places for special-type service.
It is a challenge to my patient, still not knowing what the problem is. Need to keep calm and have faith when facing uncertainty.
